[LDM] Do you connect to the Internet when updating?

I have issued various commentaries on local data mode in previous posts.
DJI has function of local data mode to not to connect internet when using DJI aircraft.

Can you update when in local data mode?

It is possible to install a new FW even when the aircraft is not connected to the Internet in order to experience the new features of the aircraft.
How does the local data mode appear before installing new FW in the first place?

To update the software, prepare a transmitter that can check the status of your UAV.
On the left, you see an item called firmware.
Enter here and you will see notifications about the firmware.

If you are not connected to the Internet, you will not be able to see the update status like this.

The display is a little unsettling, but this is the correct state.
If you allow networking, you can go online to download the new FW and easily update your aircraft.
If you don’t want to connect online, there are other offline ways to update.
I’m thinking of posting some instructions on how to do that at some point.
